Kevin R. McIntyre

Kevin R. McIntyre has spent more than three decades [1993] in the Corporate Finance arena. During that time, he has funded dozens of successful start-ups and has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for both private and public companies throughout North America. He has also bought and sold numerous businesses both in Canada and the USA as well as co-founded and financed the first wireless Internet service provider in Canada of which Novell, Inc. played a significant role.

Kevin has specialized in agricultural financing since 1998 and is known across Canada as “The Farm Guy” and has underwritten over $1B in private farm mortgages. His passion for agriculture stems from his years spent working on the family farm in Walkerton ON of which he was the fifth generation. He also ran two of his family’s prefab/modular home manufacturing companies, establishing their export market in the USA and Europe and obtaining the appropriate CSA licenses. His work in the United States includes overseeing the building of hundreds of townhomes for the Michigan Government while managing over 150 employees.

Kevin has also served as Vice President and Director of the Innisfail Kinsmen Club, President of Mountain View Academy Society (Calgary Private School) and President and Director of his local Chamber of Commerce. He has also been involved in a wide variety of noteworthy organizations, including: American Finance Association, Canadian Venture Capital Association, Canadian Association of Farm Advisors, Canadian Farm Business Management Council, Project Warmth Society of Alberta, Community Services Panel (Town of Innisfail), Family Support Services (Town of Innisfail), the Calgary Airport Authority (Rotary Challenger Park) and the Rotary Club.
